IN THIS LESSON YOU WILL LEARN
Lesson 3:
This week, we will keep building our spelling and comprehension skills.
We’ll explore more jobs of Silent e, learning how this clever letter changes the sound and meaning of words.
We’ll investigate R-controlled vowels (like ar, er, ir, or, ur) and see how the letter r changes the vowel sound.
In reading, we’ll practise spotting different types of comprehension questions — literal (right there in the text), inferential (read between the lines), and critical (what do I think?).
We’ll also enjoy more word stories, discovering where words come from and how they are linked to others in their family.
